CTOnews.com, November 30, realme Real self announced the launch of the realme GT Neo 3T Android 13 Beta open test program in India with firmware version RMX3371_11.A.08. Interested users can go to Settings > Software updates > setup Icons > trial > submit details > apply now to apply for the Android 13 Open Test Program for realme GT Neo 3T phones. Users who are selected to participate in the realme GT Neo 3T Android 13 Beta open test program will receive firmware updates on their devices in the next few days.

CTOnews.com learned that the realme GT Neo 3T uses the Snapdragon 870 chip and is pre-installed with realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. The machine uses 6.62in FHD+ 120HzAMOLED display screen, rear 6400 megapixel main camera + 8 megapixel ultra wide angle camera + 2 megapixel macro camera, equipped with 5000mAh battery, supports 80W fast charging.

Realme recommends that users back up their personal data before installing. Realme also requires users to ensure that their devices have at least 60% battery life before clicking the install now button. It is worth noting that users with ROOT devices are not eligible to apply for the program.

Realme said users will experience a longer startup time after installing Android 13 updates, which will depend on the number of third-party apps installed on the device. In addition, the system will perform application adaptation, security scanning, and background optimization, so battery life may be affected in the first few cycles.

Realme plans to introduce Android 13 updates for a range of devices to be launched in 2021 and 2022.
