According to CTOnews.com news on November 30, Xiaopeng today released its results for the third quarter of 2022, with revenue of 6.82 billion yuan in the third quarter, an increase of 19.3% over the same period last year, cash reserves of more than 40 billion, gross profit margin increased month-on-month, and net loss narrowed by 12.0%.

In the third quarter, Xiaopeng delivered 29570 cars, up 15 per cent from a year earlier, while P7, a smart sports sedan, delivered 16776 vehicles, down 15 per cent from 19731 in the same period in 2021. Delivery of the smart family P5 was 8703 in the third quarter of 2022.

In October 2022, Xiaopeng delivered a total of 5101 vehicles, including 2104 P7 (smart sports cars), 1665 P5 (smart family cars) and 709 G3 (compact smart I SUV), and 623 G9 (flagship SUV).

As of October 27, 2022, Xiaopeng G9 has opened large-scale delivery in more than 100 cities in China. As of October 31, 2022, total deliveries for the year reached 103654, an annual increase of 56 per cent.

As of September 30, 2022, Xiaopeng's physical sales network continued to expand, including a total of 407 stores, covering 143 cities.

As of September 30, 2022, the network of Xiaopeng self-charging stations has been further expanded to 1011 charging stations, including 806 self-operated supercharging stations and 205destination charging stations.

Total revenue in the third quarter of 2022 was 6.82 billion yuan ($960 million), up 19.3% from the same period in 2021 and 8.2% lower than the second quarter of 2022.

Car sales revenue in the third quarter of 2022 was 6.24 billion yuan ($880 million), up 14.3 percent from the same period in 2021 and 10.1 percent lower than the second quarter of 2022.

CTOnews.com learned that Xiaopeng expects delivery of 20000 to 21000 vehicles in the fourth quarter, compared with 43400 units. Revenue in the fourth quarter is expected to be 4.8 billion yuan to 5.1 billion yuan, down about 40.4% to 43.9% from a year earlier.
