CTOnews.com news on November 30, citing foreign science and technology media SamMobile reported that after the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 + models passed the FCC certification, the Galaxy S23 Ultra was also certified today. The authentication information shows that the FCC ID of the machine is A3LSMS918B and should be the international version.

CTOnews.com learned that FCC certification documents show that Galaxy S23 Ultra still lacks two improvements. One is to use a 25W charging head, and the other is to support up to Wi-Fi 6e (802.11ax).

The 25W fast charge shown in the FCC certification document does not mean that the Galaxy S23 Ultra supports a maximum of 25W fast charge. Like the Galaxy S22 + and the Galaxy S22 Ultra, these two models are also shown as 25W in the FCC file, but actually support up to 45W.

It was rumored that the Galaxy S23 Ultra would be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and would be the first mobile phone to support Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be). However, the FCC authentication information shows that the machine still supports Wi-Fi 6e at the highest level.

The FCC certification document also shows that the Galaxy S23 Ultra uses a battery model "EB-BS918ABY", which should have the same capacity as the Galaxy S22 Ultra, 5000mAh. The certification also shows that the Galaxy S23 Ultra is compatible with S-Pen (EJ-PS918), which uses Wacom technology.
