Based on the market demand and technology development trend, BYD Semiconductor launched a new product of IGBT module integrated with PFC.

Power factor is a parameter used to measure the power efficiency of electrical equipment, and low power factor represents low power efficiency. The technology to improve the power factor of electrical equipment is called PFC (power factor correction).

BYD Semiconductor has launched two new products:

BG50D07N10S5:650V 50A Rectifier + PFC+ Inverter Module with BYD miniPIM2 package

BG30K07Q10S5-R:650V 30A PFC+ inverter + current detection resistor module, using BYD miniPIM2 series package

BYD Semiconductor said that the two modules are equipped with BYD IGBT5.0 chips, compatible with the mainstream package size of the market, and optimize the DBC layout design. The advantages include low VCEsat, low switching loss, high integration, expandable packaging, and topology can be customized according to customer requirements.
