CTOnews.com, Nov. 30, Microsoft regularly introduces new features for Excel. In an official blog post today, Microsoft reviewed the latest improvements for Excel in November 2022. This blog post is not long and mainly reviews some of the noteworthy features introduced in November.

CTOnews.com learned that the web version of Excel introduces a feature called Chart Data Foils, which is used to create visual indicators of the source range of chart cells. You can easily modify the range by clicking on a range of cells and dragging it.

The updates for Chart Data FoilsWindows and Mac Excel are exactly the same. Two new features updated in November include Show Changes and Office Scripts. Show Changes can display the editing records of workbooks and support a return to the previous state, while Office Scripts is used to automate repetitive tasks and is now available to all Excel users.

In the November update of Office Scripts, the Office application on Excel has been revamped by Fluent Design design to make the command bar and ribbon palettes look more modern.
