CTOnews.com, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) Apple may have to face other challenges in 2023 in addition to its struggling supply chain. Citing a Yahoo Finance report, Oppenheimer analyst Martin Yang believes that there are two major problems facing Apple in 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that in an interview with Yahoo Finance Live, analyst Martin Yang thought:

First, consumers' willingness to upgrade and replace iPhone has been strong over the past two years, but this situation has declined in 2023. This is mainly because consumers have upgraded their new devices, and continued macroeconomic pressures next year will cause consumers to delay upgrading.

Second, the growth of Apple's service software revenue is weak, and it is difficult to make a breakthrough.

EvercoreISI analyst Amit Daryanani said in a note on Tuesday:

Due to many adverse factors, such as Foxconn, we are lowering our forecast for iPhone shipments for this quarter (October-December). These factors could cause iPhone to cut production by 5-8 million units (mainly high-end Pro models) and lose $50-8 billion in the current quarter.

PixabayWedbush Managing Director Dan Ives (Dan Ives) said in a live broadcast of Yahoo Finance:

For Apple, this is undoubtedly a time to make things worse. The shortage of iPhone in Apple Store stores is more than 30 per cent.
