At 23:08 last night, Beijing time, China launched the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft from the long March 2 F Yao 15 carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite launch Center. Shenzhou 15 carried three astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu to the space station to start a six-month mission. About 10 minutes later, the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft successfully separated from the rocket and entered the scheduled orbit, and the astronauts were in good condition. The launch was a complete success.

Earlier today, the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft successfully completed a fully autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking with the Chinese space station. China has realized the configuration of the third ship and the third cabin of the space station for the first time, and six astronauts are stationed in orbit at the same time.

It is reported that after the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft docked with the space station, the Chinese space station finally formed a three-ship configuration, namely, the sky and core module, the sky-asking experimental module, and the "third module" of the Mengtian experimental module. Tianzhou V cargo spacecraft, Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft, Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft "three ships".

This is the first time that two Shenzhou manned spacecraft docked at the Chinese space station at the same time. Shenzhou 15 docked at the front interface of the Tianhe core module node module, and Shenzhou 14 docked at the node module radial interface. At the same time, the two spacecraft carry out information transmission, ventilation and heat exchange, grid-connected power supply, and so on.

CTOnews.com learned that with the successful docking of the Shenzhou 15 spacecraft at the Chinese space station, the newly stationed astronauts will first hand over with the Shenzhou 14 astronauts in orbit, and then continue to verify the space station mission astronauts' ability to stay in orbit for a long time during the six-month "space mission."
