Shenzhou 15 carried three astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu to the space station to start a six-month mission. About 10 minutes later, the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft was successfully separated from the rocket and entered the intended orbit. The astronauts were in good condition and the launch was a complete success.

CTOnews.com learned that according to the plan, after the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft is put into orbit, it will adopt a 6.5-hour autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking mode, docking in the sky and the forward port of the core module, forming a combination of "three cabins and three ships," that is, everyone can get up tomorrow morning to receive the news of docking.

This will be the first time that the Chinese space station has docked two Shenzhou spacecraft in orbit at the same time. For the first time, China will realize the three-cabin and three-ship combination structure of the space station and the presence of six astronauts in orbit. The space station assembly has reached the largest scale at present, with a total weight of nearly 100 tons, and the living space of the astronauts is more than 100 cubic meters. In the follow-up, the operation mode of "one fight and one backup", two ships docking at the same time, and six astronauts in orbit will become the new normal of the space station.

The Shenzhou 15 crew will be in orbit for six months, and the main objectives of the mission include verifying the space station's ability to support crew rotation and realizing the first on-orbit rotation of astronauts. During the orbit, Tianzhou 6 and Shenzhou 16 will be ushered in, and it is planned to return to the Dongfeng landing site in May next year.

According to a CCTV news report, Ji Qiming, press spokesman for China's manned space program and assistant director of the China manned Space Engineering Office, said that the Shenzhou 15 mission is the last rod in the construction phase of China's space station. it is also the first rod in the stage of application and development of the space station, which plays an important role in connecting the past with the future. During the mission, the Shenzhou 15 crew will focus on six aspects of work.

First, to carry out the verification of the long-term residence of the third module of the space station.

The second is to unlock, install and test 15 scientific experiment cabinets, and carry out more than 40 space science experiments and technical experiments in the fields of space science research and application, space medicine, space technology and so on.

The third is to carry out three or four extravehicular activities to complete the installation of Mengtian module expansion pump group and load exposure platform equipment.

The fourth is to verify the working mode of the cargo airlock cabin and cooperate with the ground to complete six cargo departure tasks.

Fifth, carry out regular platform testing, maintenance and station management.

Sixth, carry out on-orbit health protection exercise, on-orbit training and drills and other work.
