CTOnews.com November 29 news, Asustek's official website has now announced a new W680 motherboard, model Pro WS W680-ACE IPMI, support for 12 Compact 13-generation Kurei processor, can install DDR5 ECC memory.

Asustek says the Pro Workstation motherboard is designed for professionals in AI, deep learning, animation, 3D rendering or media production.

CTOnews.com learned that the motherboard uses Intel LGA 1700 sockets to support the 13th and 12th generations of Intel Core processors, as well as Pentium Gold and Cy Young processors. In terms of scalability, the motherboard is equipped with dual PCIe 5.0'16 SafeSlots and dual PCIe 3.0'16 slots, 3 M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots, SlimSAS interface, dual Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet interface, USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C and Lightning 4 interface. There are four memory slots that support DDR5-4800 ECC and non-ECC memory.

At present, Asustek has not yet announced the price and launch time of this motherboard.
