CTOnews.com November 29 news, Ziguang Zhanrui today officially released the system-level security of the new high-performance 5G SoC T820, using eight-core CPU architecture, 6nm EUV process, financial-level full built-in security solution.
The performance Purple Light T820's CPU adopts 1'3'4 three-cluster eight-core CPU architecture, which consists of 1 Arm Cortex-A76 core with 2.7GHz frequency, 3 Arm Cortex-A76 core with 2.3GHz frequency and 4 Arm Cortex-A55 core with 2.1GHz frequency. It supports 3MB three-level cache.
The Ziguang Zhanrui T820 is equipped with Arm Mali-G57 MC4 GPU and runs at a frequency of 850MHz.
The T820 is built by 6nm EUV process, combined with AI intelligent adjustment technology, so that the power consumption of the T820 in some scenarios is reduced by 40% compared with the first-generation 5G mobile platform. At the same time, the T820 supports LPDDR4X memory and UFS 3.1 flash memory.
The T820 uses AI noise reduction and Smart PA intelligent power amplifier technology, especially under the premise of not exceeding the bearing capacity of the loudspeaker, to improve the average volume of the terminal. Based on Zhan Rui's innovative digital audio technology, it can accurately suppress environmental noise and provide users with audio-visual integrated professional recording effect. Equipped with low-power voice wake-up system, it will better enable voice assistant applications.
The security purple light exhibition T820 uses a trusted execution environment and an independent hardware encryption and decryption engine to form a complete security solution. This scheme integrates financial-level iSE security unit into SoC. Compared with external SE scheme, it is more difficult to locate attacks and has higher security. It can support hundreds of financial scenarios such as bank cards, digital currencies and so on.
At the same time, compared with the external SE scheme, the computing power of T820 is increased by 2 times, supporting high computing security requirements such as encrypted video calls, international mainstream algorithms, better scalability, 20 times higher storage capacity, and can support hundreds of applications at the same time. The high integration advantage of T820 greatly reduces the difficulty of PCB design and the cost of whole machine design and manufacture.
The 5G connection Violet T820 supports 5G NR TDD+FDD dual carrier aggregation technology, which can achieve spectrum bandwidth aggregation up to 130MHz, which greatly improves the coverage of communication signals, resulting in faster 5G speed.
T820 supports 4G / 5G dynamic spectrum sharing technology, which can maximize the use of existing spectrum resources, meet the needs of 5G co-construction and sharing, and effectively reduce the cost of network deployment.
In addition, Ziguang Zhanrui developed an innovative full-scene coverage enhancement technology on T820, increasing the uplink rate of near-point users in the community by 60% and network coverage by more than 100%. It provides a strong technical support for the popularization of multi-channel high-definition monitoring, remote motion control, machine vision and other applications.
The T820 also supports communication features such as 2G to 5G multi-mode Netcom, Sub-6GHz full-band, SA / NSA, dual-card and dual-5G, as well as EPS Fall back and VoNR HD voice and video calls.
The image T820 adopts quad-core ISP architecture, is enhanced by the sixth generation Vivimagic imaging engine of Ziguang Zhanrui, and supports 100-megapixel camera and full-channel 4K HD video recording. Combined with the AI algorithm developed by Zhanrui, it realizes rich AI image functions such as AI noise reduction, AI-HDR, AI-Bokeh depth of field virtual technology, Face ID unlocking, AI face detection and so on.
The ISP processing performance of the T820 can support ultra-high resolution shooting of up to 1.6 billion pixels per second, providing users with flexible choices for different resolutions such as 108MP, 64MP, 50MP, 48MP and so on. While the performance is improved, the power consumption and temperature rise are controlled stably.
The T820 also supports 14bit RAW processing, a new "heterogeneous image processing engine" architecture, with XDR dedicated night scene multi-frame, multi-exposure shooting ability to restore more dark details and achieve higher quality night scene effects.
AIT820 adopts a new generation of energy-efficient NPU+VDSP architecture, vertically optimizes computing power, and NPU computing power reaches 8TOPS, an increase of 67% over the previous generation.
With the new AI computing platform, the T820 provides a full-stack AI solution with integrated software, hardware and algorithms, supporting low-bit quantization of model weights and activation values, including 4bit to 8bit, 10bit, 12bit, 16bit and other different precision; supporting access to mainstream training frameworks in the industry; and supporting advanced weight compression technology, making it possible for "large model" to be deployed on the end-side. Support 200 + mainstream neural network operators, provide convenient development access and debugging environment, use more friendly and intelligent.
T820 supports AI applications such as image hyper-segmentation, video enhancement, semantic segmentation, target detection and text recognition to help customers quickly build their own AI applications.
The display T820 uses a new generation of multi-core display architecture, supports 120Hz refresh rate full HD FHD+ and 60Hz refresh rate QHD + resolution, full-channel, full-format HDR standard rendering capability, will provide users with profound and hierarchical picture quality.
T820 multi-screen display can support up to 4K HDR10 + UHD picture quality. Combined with DCI dynamic contrast enhancement, it will provide users with natural and realistic color rendering, rich and vivid color and a wider color gamut, greatly enhancing the user's experience in high frame rate competitive games, 5G ultra high definition video viewing, XR and other visual immersive application scenes.
The T820 uses variable refresh rate (VRR) and resolution intelligent switching technology, which can intelligently match the display refresh rate of the terminal with games, movies, television and other content, so that users can get a smooth HD experience and improve battery life at the same time.
