The world's first panoramic sightseeing mountain tourist train shuttled between the ancient city of Lijiang and Yulong Snow Mountain, and a new scenic line is about to meet tourists.

According to reports, the first phase of the Lijiang sightseeing train project has a total length of about 20.8 kilometers, with a design speed of 70 kilometers per hour, connecting major tourist scenic spots such as Baisha Ancient Town, Yushuizhai, Dongba Valley, Ganhaizi, and network celebrities. It is the first urban rail transit line in Lijiang City, and it is also a special tourist line connecting the World Cultural Heritage Lijiang Ancient City and Yulong Snow Mountain 5A scenic area.

China Railway Construction said the train runs through high-altitude areas in Yunnan, with a slope of 55 per thousand, approaching the limit of the domestic design code. During the construction period, the construction team successfully created a special model with strong tractive force and small turning radius through the transformation of construction equipment, ensuring that the qualified rate of 4000 track welds could reach 100% at one time, and successfully solved the problem of high altitude long ramp construction in the first mountain area in China.

In addition, the train extends the glass window to the top of the train, so that passengers can look up at the view. At the same time, the large curved window also has a 10-gear electric dimming function, and the discoloration film in the glass is like the skin of a chameleon. The molecular arrangement can be changed according to the electrical signal, and the light transmittance can be changed combined with the intensity of sunlight, which can not only effectively prevent ultraviolet rays but also improve the passenger viewing experience.
