CTOnews.com learned that Baidu Apollo said that Baidu, Waymo and other companies have crossed the threshold of the landing of fully self-driving operations and intensively promoted the process of scale commercialization. Among them, Waymo recently received approval from California's CPUC to provide self-driving ride-hailing services to the public in areas such as San Francisco and some cities in the Bay area. At the same time, Baidu continued to expand self-driving testing in Beijing after launching fully self-driving commercial operations in Chongqing and Wuhan.

At the Apollo Day Technology Open Day, Baidu also announced that it will expand its business scale and carry out fully self-driving operations in more areas in 2023, focusing on creating the world's largest fully self-driving operation service area.

According to Baidu Q3 financial data, the number of orders for radish fast running exceeded 474000 in the third quarter of 2022, up 311% from a year earlier and 65% from a month earlier. Among them, the number of self-driving orders in Wuhan and Chongqing is growing rapidly; in addition, in the three first-tier cities in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, the average daily order for bicycles is more than 15.
