According to reports, in cooperation with easyJet Airways, they conducted a ground test at a government test facility in Boscomton, using a modified Rolls-Royce AE 2100UA engine and green hydrogen generated by wind energy and tidal energy in the Orkney Islands of Scotland.

This marks the further development of new energy in the aviation field, which has played a positive role in mitigating climate change and reducing harmful carbon emissions.

Grazia Vittadini, chief technology officer of Rolls-Royce, said the test was an "exciting milestone". "We are exploring the zero-carbon possibility of hydrogen, which could help reshape the future of flight."
