CTOnews.com November 29, Robert Iger (Robert Iger) recently returned to the Walt Disney Company as CEO. Iger retired from Disney at the end of last year after serving as chief executive for 15 years (2005-2020).

Robert Iger said at a company staff meeting on Monday that he would put creativity first and would pursue profitability rather than increasing the number of subscribers to Disney's streaming service.

CTOnews.com learned that this was the first staff meeting since Iger returned as chief executive a week ago. The move comes after Disney's board fired Bob Chapek, its chief executive, who took over as Disney's chief executive in February 2020.

According to the report, Iger won applause when he was introduced to the staff meeting, and he responded that he thought he might cry. In addition, Iger faces many challenges during his return to Disney, including employee morale. Some Disney employees have expressed dissatisfaction with the way Bob Chapek manages Disney several times in the past year.
