CTOnews.com learned that Samsung held a developer conference on October 12 and talked about the One UI 5.0update based on Android 13, and officially confirmed that the official One UI 5.0update will be launched to the Galaxy S22 series in October and to the remaining flagship products by 2023. One UI 5.0comes with an Android 13 kernel, new features such as lock screen customization, expanded color palettes, improved permission notification customization options, a slightly redesigned fast switching area, and better animation.

It is worth mentioning that Sally Hyesoon Jeong, vice president of Android framework research and development of Samsung Electronics, said in an interview that One UI 5.0is currently being launched in most markets around the world.
