CTOnews.com, November 29, according to SteamDB data, the number of games added to the Steam platform in 2022 has surpassed that of 2021. So far, 11721 new games have been added to the Steam platform, compared with 11586 in 2021.

CTOnews.com learned that with the exception of 2019, the number of new games on the Steam platform has been on the rise every year in the past 10 years. The decline in the number of games in 2019 may have something to do with Ubisoft and others announcing that their games are no longer available on the Steam platform.

From a data point of view, although the Epic platform is slowly rising, Steam is still the preferred platform for PC players.
