CTOnews.com, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) the delivery time of Apple's iPhone 14 Pro order has eased slightly outside the Chinese market, but supply problems at Foxconn's iPhone plant remain.

In the 12th week of the JPMorgan Apple product availability tracking report, all major iPhone 14 series models have changed. Globally, delivery times for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus increased to 3 days from 2 days in week 11, while delivery times for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max decreased to an average of 35 days from 41 days a week ago.

JPMorgan said the shorter delivery time of the iPhone 14 Pro was seen as "an encouraging trend related to improved supply". In most areas outside the Chinese market, delivery time has been shortened. However, delivery times in the Chinese market are still extending, suggesting that "it will take more time for supply and demand to reach a balance than in the past few years".

Even so, delivery times for these models have generally eased, "suggesting that the worst related to supply challenges is over". Analysts said continued disruptions at the iPhone plant and delays in returning to normal production levels "could limit the pace at which supply and demand can be balanced in the coming months, despite some rebound in supply."

Compared with the iPhone 13 series, the delivery time of the iPhone 14 Standard Edition model is relatively the same as the previous version, while the Pro model is now relatively longer.

In the United States, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus delivery times are relatively stable at 4 days, compared with 3 days a week ago, while iPhone 14 Pro models slow from 40 days to 33 days. Although some retail stores iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus can pick up goods on the same day, the iPhone 14 Pro models are basically out of stock.

In China, the basic model of iPhone 14 is kept at 2 days, consistent with iPhone 13. The time of iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max is still 43 days, which is the longest delivery time of all tracked regions.

In Europe, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in Germany and the UK have delivery times of 4 days, up from 1 day a week ago and in line with iPhone 13. The shipping time of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is 32 days in Germany, down from 39 days a week ago, and 33 days and less than 40 days in the UK.

CTOnews.com has learned that for wearable tracking, supply and demand appear to be balanced. For Apple Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Ultra, JPMorgan said delivery times were 6 days, 7 days and 4 days respectively, stable compared with a week ago.

Delivery time for Apple's AirPods Pro 2 wireless headphones increased slightly, from 2 days to 3 days.

"Apple iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max supply production will be reduced by 6 million units this year."
