Sinopec built a hydrogen energy industry chain demonstration site in East China around Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Industry as the application home. After the completion of the demonstration site, it is designed to reserve a daily hydrogen supply capacity of 10 tons, realizing the integrated industrial scene application of "production, transportation, storage, addition and utilization" of hydrogen energy.

The comprehensive demonstration site of the hydrogen energy industry chain is built to integrate the local hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and transportation, hydrogen fuel cell production, hydrogen filling stations and hydrogen energy vehicles. At present, the first hydrogenation station in Ningbo, the first phase of the project, has been completed, and two hydrogen-powered passenger cars have been put into operation, adding a total of 1998 kilograms of hydrogen in the past year. As the only continuously operating hydrogenation demonstration station in Ningbo, it can reduce carbon emissions by 1875 tons per year under full load, equivalent to planting more than 100000 trees a year.

The hydrogen energy heavy truck used this time has a total weight of 49 tons and can carry a total weight of 30 tons, which is mainly used to transport all kinds of chemical products produced by Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd. It uses hydrogen fuel cell as the power source to replace the high horsepower diesel engine, water is the only emission, truly achieve zero carbon emissions and zero pollution. It is estimated that, compared with diesel heavy trucks, each hydrogen heavy truck can reduce carbon emissions by at least 120 tons per year, so it is a real zero-emission clean energy vehicle.

The company is speeding up the construction of the second phase of the hydrogenation demonstration station, which will become the largest integrated hydrogenation center in Zhejiang Province, further optimize the hydrogenation charging process, improve the hydrogen user experience, and enrich the hydrogen energy application scene.
