CTOnews.com November 28 news, recently, TCL Central announced the latest wafer prices, of which 150 μ m thickness P-type 210,182 wafers are quoted at 9.30yuan and 7.05yuan per wafer, respectively, down 0.43yuan and 0.33yuan per wafer compared with October 31st. The latest quotations for N-type 210 and 182 wafers with 150 μ m thickness are 9.86 yuan and 7.54 yuan respectively, which are 0.46 yuan and 0.36 yuan lower than the previous round. The latest prices will be implemented on November 28.

TCL Central said that the price reduction of silicon wafers is due to the upstream supply and demand pattern. The decline in silicon prices will help the photovoltaic industry to reduce costs and increase efficiency, and the impact on the company's orders and performance will be released in the follow-up announcement.

CTOnews.com learned that in the first three quarters of 2022, TCL Central achieved an operating income of 49.845 billion yuan, an increase of 71.35% over the same period last year, and a net profit of 5.001 billion yuan belonging to shareholders of listed companies, an increase of 80.68% over the same period last year. The report shows that in the third quarter of 2022, the total production capacity of TCL Central reached 128GW, an increase of 45.45% over the beginning of the year and is expected to reach 140GW by the end of 2022. By the end of September, the first and second modules of the TCL Ningxia Phase 6 project have been fully put into production and are expected to reach production and increase the total production capacity from 50GW to 65-70GW by 2023.
