From the perspective of industrial and commercial information, Jidu Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. was established on November 23, with a registered capital of 100 million US dollars, and the legal representative is Xia Yiping, which is wholly owned by Jidu Automobile (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. the scope of business includes charging pile sales, electric vehicle charging infrastructure operation, new energy vehicle sales, industrial Internet data services, and so on.

According to the official website of Jidu Automobile, Jidu is an auto robot startup founded by Baidu and invested by Geely Strategy. The company was officially established in March 2021, with Xia Yiping as CEO.

CTOnews.com learned that according to Jidu Motors this month, due to the postponement of the auto show, ROBO-01 will be released in early 2023. In addition, the second model of Jidu will be unveiled soon.
