CTOnews.com, Nov. 28, according to the Financial Associated Press, Aichi Automobile, a new force in car building, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Phoenix Electric vehicle Co., Ltd., headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, covering a total procurement plan of 150000 new energy vehicles. It is reported that this is by far the largest cooperation plan for the new forces of Chinese car-building abroad.

CTOnews.com learned that Aichi has undergone many personnel changes since the beginning of this year. Recently, Aichi Automobile ushered in a high-level personnel adjustment. Among them, Chen Xuanlin resigned as chairman of the company and continued to serve as a director, while Zhang Yang, the former CEO, served as chairman. In addition, Aichi also appointed Qiu Xiaochuan as the CEO of the company to assist Zhang Yang in charge of the daily operation and management of the company.

Public data show that since its delivery in June 2020, Aichi has delivered 2600 and 3011 vehicles in China in 2020 and 2021 respectively, and accumulated domestic sales of 2824 vehicles from January to August in 2022. Overall, since the launch of the first production car Aichi U5, Aichi has sold less than 15000 cars at home and abroad.

Relevant data show that in 2018, Aichi's operating income was 33.19 million yuan, with a net profit loss of 970 million yuan; in the first quarter of 2019, Aichi's operating income was 370000 yuan and net profit loss was 254 million yuan. As of March 31, 2019, the total debt of Aichi Automobile is 2.407 billion yuan, and the asset-liability ratio has reached 97.5%.
