It is reported that since the Yuanwang 6 ship set sail on October 21, it has successively completed two maritime measurement and control missions of the Mengtian experimental module of the space station and the Yunhai 3 satellite. Today, the Yuanwang-6 ship is about to usher in the sea measurement and control mission of the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft, and all scientific and technological personnel have made full preparations for this.

The data show that Yuanwang-6 survey ship is a large space ocean-going survey ship with international advanced level developed by China, which adopts the advanced technology in the fields of ship construction, navigation meteorology, electronics, machinery, optics, communication, computer and so on. Several sets of large-scale measurement and control equipment are installed on the deck at the same time, which can complete the sea tracking and measurement and control tasks of rockets, satellites, spacecraft and other spacecraft.

Earlier today, a press conference on the Shenzhou 15 manned mission was held at the Jiuquan Satellite launch Center to report on the mission. Ji Qiming, press spokesman for China's manned space program and assistant director of the China manned Space Engineering Office, said that after a study by the space station phase mission headquarters, the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft was launched at 23:08 on November 29, Beijing time. The flight crew was composed of astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming, and Zhang Lu, and Fei Junlong served as commander.

CTOnews.com learned that this mission is the sixth mission of the manned space project this year, and it is also the last mission during the construction phase of the space station. The astronauts will work and live in orbit for six months. The main purpose of the mission is to verify the ability of the space station to support crew rotation and to realize the first on-orbit rotation of astronauts. Carry out the installation and debugging of the equipment inside and outside the space station and the facilities and equipment related to the space application mission, carry out space scientific experiments and technical experiments, carry out the daily maintenance of the space station, and verify the normal operation mode of the third cabin combination of the space station.

According to the plan, after the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft is put into orbit, it will adopt the mode of autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking, docking at the forward ports of the sky and the core module, forming a combination of three cabins and three ships, which is the largest configuration of the Chinese space station at present, with a total mass of nearly 100 tons. During their stay in orbit, the crew of Shenzhou 15 astronauts will usher in the visiting docking of Tianzhou 6 cargo spacecraft and Shenzhou 16 manned spacecraft, and plan to return to the Dongfeng landing site in May next year.
