CTOnews.com November 28, the Software Green Alliance officially announced today that the Software Green Alliance Application experience Standard 5.1 Security Standard (hereinafter referred to as: green Standard Security Standard 5.1) was officially released on November 26, 2022 after two weeks of publicity and revision.

CTOnews.com learned that the Software Green Alliance was founded on November 14, 2016 and was co-sponsored by Alibaba, Baidu, Huawei, Tencent and NetEase. It already has six gold medal member enterprises (360360, Meituan Dianping, Ctrip, Sina Weibo, JD.com, China Tyre Lab), and more than 1000 member enterprises.

It is reported that Software Green Alliance, which aims to build a joint organization of domestic green software ecology, is an open non-profit organization.

According to reports, the main drafters of this standard include Tencent, Baidu, Huawei, Tyre Terminal Laboratory of China Academy of Information and Communications, Sina, NetEase, Alibaba; the main drafters: Tan Jianming, Chen Chongrong, Tang Jiawei, Yuan Zhongju, Wang Zhiheng, Yi Qiang, Yan Shiwen, GE Zhiyong, Dong Dianhui, Li Gong, Cheng Jianfeng.

Compared with the 5.0 standard, the Green Standard 5.1 issued this time focuses on the further enhancement and refinement of application signature requirements, application startup security, application runtime security requirements, application exit security requirements, and so on, in order to better match the national regulatory authorities' requirements for App security compliance governance.

It is said that the purpose of this standard is to improve the user experience of the application and standardize the security behavior of the whole life cycle of the application, including the security requirements and specifications of the application preparation phase, the development and debugging phase, the release phase, the operation and maintenance phase. This standard is applicable to the design, development and testing of applications.
