CTOnews.com, 28 November, a press conference on the Shenzhou 15 manned mission was held at 9: 00 today at the Jiuquan Satellite launch Center to report on the mission. After a study by the space station phase mission headquarters, the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft was launched at 23: 08 Beijing time on November 29. The flight crew is composed of astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu, with Fei Junlong as commander.

CTOnews.com learned that the Shenzhou 15 crew will be in orbit for six months, and the main objectives of the mission include verifying the space station's ability to support crew rotation and realizing the first on-orbit rotation of astronauts. During the orbit, Tianzhou 6 and Shenzhou 16 will be ushered in, and it is planned to return to the Dongfeng landing site in May next year.

According to the plan, after entering orbit, the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft will adopt the mode of autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking, docking at the forward ports of the sky and the core module, forming a combination of "three cabins and three ships." this is the current largest configuration of the Chinese space station, with a total mass of nearly 100 tons.

According to a CCTV news report, Ji Qiming, press spokesman for China's manned space program and assistant director of the China manned Space Engineering Office, said that the Shenzhou 15 mission is the last rod in the construction phase of China's space station. it is also the first rod in the stage of application and development of the space station, which plays an important role in connecting the past with the future. During the mission, the Shenzhou 15 crew will focus on six aspects of work.

First, to carry out the verification of the long-term residence of the third module of the space station.

The second is to unlock, install and test 15 scientific experiment cabinets, and carry out more than 40 space science experiments and technical experiments in the fields of space science research and application, space medicine, space technology and so on.

The third is to carry out three or four extravehicular activities to complete the installation of Mengtian module expansion pump group and load exposure platform equipment.

The fourth is to verify the working mode of the cargo airlock cabin and cooperate with the ground to complete six cargo departure tasks.

Fifth, carry out regular platform testing, maintenance and station management.

Sixth, carry out on-orbit health protection exercise, on-orbit training and drills and other work.
