Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, November 28, according to a CCTV financial report, a survey released by Japan's Kyodo News Agency on the 27th shows that more than 20% of Japan's large enterprises are considering raising product prices next year due to rising production costs caused by rising raw material prices and a weaker yen.

According to reports, a total of 80 companies responded to the survey, including Toyota, Nintendo, Shiseido and other industry leaders. Of these, 23 per cent of large Japanese companies surveyed are considering raising product prices next year or later; 49 per cent have not yet decided but do not deny the possibility of a price increase next year; and 15 per cent are reluctant to say whether they will decide to raise prices.

A number of companies said that higher raw material costs, higher transport costs and a weaker yen were the main reasons for them to consider price increases.

According to Japan's Mainichi Shimbun on October 25, under the background of the sharp depreciation of the yen and the rise in global crude oil prices, Japan's price rise in October this year reached the largest scale in 30 years.

CTOnews.com learned that in August this year, Sony suddenly announced that it would raise the price of PS5 in some markets due to the international economic environment, inflation and exchange rate factors.
