CTOnews.com, November 28, South Korea will officially announce its "Future Space Economic Roadmap" today, which aims to build South Korea into a space economic power, including the Aerospace Administration / Agency, which is described by the outside world as the "Korean version of NASA."

"President Yin will announce a road map for the future space economy tomorrow, including six national agendas for South Korea to become a space economic power," said Li Zaiming, deputy spokesman for Blue House.

It is said that Yin's government is preparing for the establishment of the Korean Space Agency next year. He added that the agency would be on a par with NASA.

CTOnews.com learned that South Korea had previously hinted at the "space economy program" at a news conference in August, when the South Korean government announced that it would start the space economy era through bold investment in the establishment of a "space and space administration."

Lee Jae-Ming said the agency would be under the Korean Ministry of Science, Technology and Information and Communications, and it would be independent of the existing Korean Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The members of the new "Aerospace Administration" are mainly composed of experts and project-oriented temporary seconded public officials.

He said that although the space economy is relatively unfamiliar to many South Korean citizens, in the process of South Korea's independent research and development of rockets, more than 300 enterprises have developed and made gains in the space economy, and South Korea will strive to strengthen the development of the space economy in the future.
