The construction of Nanchong section of Nancheng railway started in December 2018 and entered the trial operation phase of Mantu on October 13.

According to the official news of Nanning Railway Bureau, it is getting closer and closer to the opening of the Nanchong section of the southern high-speed railway, and the construction of network facilities along the line is also speeding up. At present, 510 4G base stations have been opened, achieving full coverage of the 5G network.

Relevant network companies have recently taken the lead in opening 510 mobile base stations. After on-site testing, the uplink rate of mobile 5G network reaches 50Mbps and the downlink rate reaches 500Mbps. Today, five stations along the railway line are covered by high-speed mobile networks.

CTOnews.com learned that the Nanchong section has a design speed of 250km / h and an operating mileage of 119.294 km, with five stations along the way: Nanning, Wuwei Airport, Fusuinan, Qujiu Nan (reserved) and Chongzuonan.

Nanning Railway Bureau said that after the official operation of Nanchong section, Guangxi high-speed rail network and civil aviation network achieve interconnection. Nanning Station, Nanning East Station and Nanning Airport achieve seamless transfer between high-speed rail and airplanes, and the ride time from Nanning to Chongzuo will be reduced from the current 2 hours to more than 50 minutes.
