According to reports, after 20 years of development, AVS standards have formed 9 international IEEE standards, 13 national standards, 3 industry standards and 18 group standards, which have become the core technical standards adopted by China's HD, 4K UHD and 8K UHD radio and television channels.

AVS3 Audio / Audio Vivid is a 3D acoustic technology independently developed in China this year, and it is also the first audio codec standard based on AI technology in the world. After the two national standards appeared at the same time for the first time in the 2022 CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Gala, the Intelligent Audio-Visual Research Institute, Bohua Ultra HD Innovation Center, together with Shanghai Hayes and China Mobile Migu, once again demonstrated China's independent video and audio standards to more people with the help of the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

In this World Cup, AVS Industry Alliance, China Mobile Migu, Danghong Technology, Burson Ruisi and other units have put AVS3 video and audio standards into large-scale commercial use in mobile live streaming scenes for the first time, which is an important application upgrade of AVS3 standard after realizing mobile live streaming applications in Beijing Winter Olympic Games, pushing AVS3 standard into the era of "large-scale commercial use of mobile devices". It is also the first time that AVS3 has achieved full coverage of 8K, 4K and mobile applications. Migu video client has set up "Vivid color audio-visual" and "AVS eye color world" perspective, fully supporting AVS3 audio and video standard.

CTOnews.com learned that on July 8 this year, the Digital Video Broadcasting Organization (DVB Project) announced the formal approval of China's "AVS3" as one of the next generation video codec standards in the DVB standard system. This is also the first time that DVB has adopted Chinese video standards.
