However, the HI model is not going well. The delivery of the Jihu Alpha S HI version was originally scheduled for the end of last year, but it was delayed several times. The official delivery was announced in July this year, and sales fell short of expectations.

Huawei BU was merged into consumer BG at the end of 2020, and Huawei terminal BG CEO Yu Chengdong took over the auto business and launched a new model called Huawei Smart selection, which is more deeply involved in building and selling cars. Under the smart selection mode, Huawei is deeply involved in product definition, vehicle design and marketing, and brings cooperative models into Huawei's offline channels for sales. At present, the only car company that has announced the cooperation in the "Huawei Smart selection" model is Cyrus, and the two sides have jointly launched the "Cyrus Huawei Smart selection SF5" series of models. People close to Huawei said that after Cyrus, Huawei also began to work with Chery and Jianghuai to build "Huawei Smart selection" cars. BAIC's smart car selection project is currently in the project stage, and Huawei has sent more than a dozen people to BAIC plant.

At the 2022 China Automobile Forum held earlier, Wang Yanyi, president of Huawei's smart car selection business, said that Huawei chose to do smart car selection business because some car customers had encountered challenges in choosing Huawei parts. under Huawei's blessing, new cars with gears of more than 300000 yuan have not become popular.
