According to introduction, during the trial operation of the train, the crew members are familiar with all kinds of equipment and facilities in the carriage, simulate the passenger boarding and landing work flow, master the use of vehicle-engine joint control and fire emergency equipment, and make full preparations for the opening of the new line. In view of the actual situation that the Mi-Meng high-speed railway passes through ethnic minority areas, the crew has specially added training in the common service languages of Yi, Hani and other ethnic minorities.

CTOnews.com learned that Mi-Meng high-speed railway is located in Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. It is the first intercity high-speed railway in the local area. It starts from Maitre Station of Nankun Passenger Dedicated Line in the north, passes through Maitre City and Kaiyuan City in the south, and ends in Mengzi City, the capital of Honghe Prefecture. The main line is about 107km long and the design speed is 250km/h. Four new stations, Honghe, Kaiyuan South, Pengpu and Zhuyuan, will be built.

According to the railway department, after the opening of the Mi-Meng high-speed railway, it will become a convenient passenger transportation channel between the two major urban agglomerations in central Yunnan and southeast Yunnan. Mengzi, Kaiyuan and Maitreya will form a half-hour high-speed railway economic circle, which can be accessed from Kunming to Mengzi within 2 hours.
