I knew I had no place in the eyes of the leader. Such a simple form asked me to give it to him before I went to work this afternoon.

Oh, I'm kidding. I'll do it in 10 minutes!

However, I made a table easily in the first 9 minutes, but I did it for a whole hour with the line "numbered" here on the upper right!

Here's what I did: first type some spaces, then select the cell, and then click the underscore style in the font style.

But--

Or the space is typed in, and as soon as the enter is edited, the underline disappears!

Or there is a problem with the alignment!

Or the border display is incomplete! Bang!

An underline is so wrong that it makes me doubt life! I tried to find a solution if I didn't admit defeat.

There are two ways to realize underlining. There are two ways to input underlines under popular science.

❶ special characters use the keyboard's [Shift] + [- (the minus sign above the letter P)] to type an underscore.

❷ spaces + underscore style step 1: type some spaces first.

Step 2: then select the cell.

Step 3: finally, select the underscore style in the font style.

The step can also be 231, with the same effect.

All right, let's start to formally solve the problem!

Adding "mysterious" content shows an underscore in the Excel. If there is no other content in the space to the left and right ends of the cell, although the space will be occupied, the style of the space will not be displayed.

As shown in the picture, the space is typed in, and the underline disappears as soon as the editor presses enter.

👉 solution: step 1: add something at the end of these spaces (such as a decimal point).

Step 2: set the text style to white (worksheet background color) for the content after the space (such as the decimal point mentioned above).

Split cells to achieve special alignment encountered such a requirement, the underscore and the bottom of the "number" should not be aligned, the underscore should be a little lower than the bottom of the word "number". How does this work?

Because Excel sets the alignment on a cell-by-cell basis, no matter which way you use to achieve text + underlining, you can't set different alignments in one cell to meet the requirements.

👉 solution: step 1: type the "number" in one cell, set the format to vertical center + right alignment, type the underscore in the other cell in the way described above, and set the format to bottom alignment + left alignment.

Step 2: set the outer border for the two adjacent cells, "number" and "underscore", and remove the default gray box line in Excel.

Adjust the width so that the border is complete when setting the overall outer border of the meeting record Table, the border on the right does not show up at the position marked in the image below.

What are we going to do about this?

This is when entering spaces + underscores, adding a decimal point that is the same as the background color, causing me to misestimate the width of the cell, and when adjusting the width, the border is truncated by this invisible decimal point.

So, in fact, the border has been added, but it has been covered.

👉 solution: step 1: add a border to the target cell.

Step 2: type something that exceeds its width, and the border on the right is obscured.

Step 3: adjust the column width of the D column, double-click in the middle of the D and E columns, you can adjust the column width of the D column, and take the width of the longest content in all the cells of the D column as the column width of the D column.

So the border on the right is displayed.
