I. Preliminary exposure adjustment

Only when there is light, adjust the overall exposure in ACR's basic exposure adjustment item, because in order to prevent highlight overexposure during shooting, deliberately reduce the exposure, so the dark part will be darker, and it needs to be greatly brightened later.

This is the initial adjustment before and after the contrast effect, exposure is normal, the color is reflected.

II. Brightening the main building at night is the focus of expression. We also want to highlight the night scene of tall buildings and neon, so we should brighten some parts of the building.

Will get a very obvious effect to gray, and may be excessive effect, and then appropriately reduce the layer fill to the appropriate extent on the line.

This is the effect of partial brightening.

Third, gradually adjust the sky

The sky in the upper left corner is a little dim and loses its blues color, so it is partially brightened.

IV. HSL tool changes hue

Night scenery pay attention to the contrast between cold and warm colors, blue and yellow to look good, yellow in the original, not as comfortable as orange, so use HSL tools to change the hue and saturation of orange.

V. Weakening cruise ships

The cruise ship is an insignificant object in the environment in this picture, so don't be too conspicuous, it will distract the vision. We're gonna lower the cruise ship red.

Mask Select Radial Filter

Dramatically reduce exposure, color temperature, saturation, so that the cruise ship dimmed down, less obvious.

This was the result of the adjustment. It was no longer conspicuous.

VI. Crop the picture

Crop the picture, removing some of the clutter at the edges.

After finishing, look at the contrast effect
