CTOnews.com learned that this was mainly because Samsung's maintenance network in Canada, Walk-In Repair, had to be temporarily shut down during the COVID-19 epidemic. To this end, Samsung quickly launched a solution called "Stay Home, Stay Safe", which continues to deliver safe products and provide intimate after-sales service to customers.

Through the "Stay Home, Stay Safe" campaign, Samsung continues to deliver on its commitment to security and special customer service. The program allows customers to register for free contactless pick-up and return regardless of whether their products are warranted or not.

The company has also introduced safety protocols such as strict hygiene standards for repair centers, making it the only OEM in the industry that offers "in-garage" maintenance options for large appliances. Similarly, Samsung is the only Canadian manufacturer that sends repaired equipment back to customers' doorstep within three to five working days.
