CTOnews.com news on November 26, according to the latest report released by market research agency Adamas Intelligence, Tesla estimated that 190255 vehicles would be delivered worldwide in September this year, setting a new delivery record again. The report also provides interesting data. In terms of battery capacity, Tesla delivered 13.9 GWh of electricity worldwide in September this year alone, with an average of 73 kWh per car.

This is mainly because some Tesla models are equipped with the highest 100kWh batteries, while Model 3 and Model Y models are usually in the 60kWh and the highest in the 80kWh. Tesla did not disclose the exact battery capacity of his model, which varies with specific versions and changes from time to time with new battery types and even software updates.

CTOnews.com learned that according to the report, Tesla delivered a total of 1.848 million pure electric vehicles worldwide from January 2021 to September 2022, deploying 132.9GWh batteries, averaging about 71.9 kWh per vehicle.

Adamas Intelligence also reported figures from BYD, the second-largest maker of pure electric cars, which also offers plug-in hybrids (the sales mix between BEV and PHEV is about 50 per cent this year, compared with 45 per cent of BEV in 2021).

BYD delivered about 192648 BEV / PHEV vehicles in September and 1.769 million between January 2021 and September 2022. At the same time, the battery deployment is estimated to be 6.7GWh (34.8kWh per vehicle) and 65.6GWh (37.1kWh per vehicle).
