The research and test project on the integration of offshore wind power and marine pastures in Laizhou is located in the demonstration sea area of national marine pastures on the west side of Furong Island in the north of Tushan Town, Laizhou City, Yantai City, Shandong Province.

This project will be used as a pilot project of "deep-water cage + offshore wind power", "deep-sea aquaculture + leisure sea fishing" and the integrated development model of marine pastures, deep-sea aquaculture fishing grounds and offshore wind power, to achieve concentrated and intensive use of the sea through three-dimensional development. maximize the use of marine resources and create a model of "blue energy + marine granary" model.

CTOnews.com was informed that the project has a planned installed capacity of 304MW and that a total of 38 wind turbines with a single capacity of 8.0MW will be built. After landing through the submarine cable, the electric energy generated by the wind turbine is connected to the 220 KV land boost station through the four-circuit 66 KV overhead line of the power grid supporting project. after boosting to 220 KV by transformer, it is sent to 220 KV Ye County substation through a 220 kV overhead line and incorporated into the power grid.

After the full capacity of the project is put into operation, the annual power consumption of the project can reach 1 billion kilowatt hours, save about 300000 tons of standard coal every year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 780000 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by about 5700 tons, and nitrogen oxide emissions by about 8500 tons.
