EOS R5 sources said that the EOS R5 Mark II camera will feature a new 6100 megapixel CMOS BSI sensor, dual DIGIC X processors, support for 30 FPS electronic shutters and 12 FPS mechanical shutters, built-in 8-gear anti-shake, support for 8K 60p and 4K 120p video recording, a heat dissipation system similar to the EOS R6 II, 8K video can be recorded for at least 40 minutes and 4K video for 60 minutes.

In other respects, the EOS R5 Mark II camera will feature dual CFexpress B card slots, dual USB-C interfaces and a 944 megapixel electronic viewfinder.

CTOnews.com learned that Canon's current EOS R5, released in 2020 and priced at 25999 yuan, is equipped with a new CMOS image sensor with about 45 million effective pixels and a DIGIC X digital image processor.
