Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
November 25 news, according to foreign media reports, Ford will recall more than 634000 SUV around the world because the fuel injector may break, thus causing a fire.
It is reported that the problem cannot be repaired at present, and once repairs can be carried out, dealers will update the vehicle software to detect whether the injector is broken and provide messages on the dashboard to remind drivers.
It is reported that Ford's recall includes the Bronco Sport and Escape SUV models produced between 2020 and 2023, all with 1.5-liter three-cylinder engines. The recall involved about 520000 vehicles in the United States and about 114000 in other countries.
It is reported that this is not the first time Ford has recalled cars this year. In mid-June this year, foreign media reported that the company would recall 48924 Mustang Mach-E vehicles in the United States to resolve battery problems that could cause the car to fail to start or lose power while driving.
The affected vehicles include the 2021 and 2022 Mustang Mach-E models produced at Ford's Cuautitlan plant in Mexico between May 27, 2020 and May 24, 2022.
