CTOnews.com, November 24 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- OOKLA, the company behind the popular speed software SpeedTest service, released its third quarter 2022 online report, which provides a list of the five fastest 5G devices in the United States. These devices are from Samsung and Apple.

Obviously, Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro are the fastest 5G devices in the US market, beating Samsung devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is Samsung's fastest 5G device in the United States, followed by Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple's high-end iPhone models have an impressive download speed, averaging 177Mbps. The best Samsung phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 4, has achieved the average download speed of 162Mbps in the United States. But when it comes to upload speed, the difference between high-end iPhone models and Samsung Galaxy devices is huge. Samsung's average upload speed is poor, with the fastest median below 20Mbps.

OOKLA points out that the speed of 5G will vary from network to network because the list does not distinguish data from network to network. When it comes to Internet speed, Brazil and China show double download and upload speeds compared with the United States.
