Data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that from January to October, China's software business revenue was 842.14 billion yuan, up 10.0% year-on-year and 0.2% higher than that of the first three quarters; the total profit of software industry was 1004.7 billion yuan, up 4.5% year-on-year and 1.8% higher than that of the first three quarters.

CTOnews.com learned that from January to October, software product revenue was 2,073.7 billion yuan, up 9.6% year-on-year, accounting for 24.6% of the industry's revenue. Among them, the revenue from industrial software products was 186.1 billion yuan, up 12.8% year-on-year.

By region, software business revenue in the eastern region accelerated growth, while the central region led the growth.

1-10 In January, the eastern region completed software business revenue of 6,946.4 billion yuan, up 9.4% year-on-year;

The software business revenue in the central region was 404.5 billion yuan, up 14.7% year-on-year.

The software business revenue in the western region was 883.1 billion yuan, up 13.0% year-on-year.

The revenue from software business completed in Northeast China was 187.4 billion yuan, up 8.5% year-on-year.

The proportion of software business revenue in the total revenue of the four regions is 82.5%, 4.8%, 10.5% and 2.2% respectively.

The following is the economic operation of software industry from January to October 2022 issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology:

1-10 In January, China's software and information technology service industry (hereinafter referred to as the software industry) operated steadily, with software business revenue growth picking up slightly, total profit growth accelerating, and software business exports growing steadily.

I. Overall operation The growth rate of software business revenue rebounded slightly. 1-10 In January, China's software business revenue was 842.14 billion yuan, up 10.0% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 0.2 percentage points higher than that of the first three quarters.

Information technology service revenue maintained rapid growth. 1-10 In January, the information technology service revenue was 545.83 billion yuan, up 10.1% year-on-year, the growth rate was the same as that in the first three quarters, accounting for 64.8% of the total industry revenue. Among them, cloud computing and big data services realized a total revenue of 823.4 billion yuan, up 7.7% year-on-year, accounting for 15.1% of information technology service revenue; integrated circuit design revenue was 228.6 billion yuan, up 13.0% year-on-year; e-commerce platform technical service revenue was 838.6 billion yuan, up 16.5% year-on-year.

The growth rate of information security revenue has been stable. 1-10 In January, the revenue from information security products and services reached 154.9 billion yuan, up 9.7% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 2.7 percentage points compared with the previous three quarters.

Embedded systems software revenue growth accelerated. 1-10 In January, embedded system software revenue was 734.4 billion yuan, up 9.6% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 1.2 percentage points higher than that of the first three quarters.

Operation by region The software business revenue in the eastern region accelerated growth, while the central region took the lead in growth. 1-10 In January, the software business revenue in the eastern region was 694.64 billion yuan, up 9.4% year-on-year, 0.2 percentage points higher than that in the first three quarters; the software business revenue in the central region was 404.5 billion yuan, up 14.7% year-on-year, 4.7 percentage points higher than the overall level of the whole industry; The software business revenue completed in the western region was 883.1 billion yuan, up 13.0% year-on-year, 3 percentage points higher than the overall level of the whole industry; the software business revenue completed in the northeast region was 187.4 billion yuan, up 8.5% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 0.2 percentage points compared with the previous three quarters. The proportion of software business revenue in the total revenue of the four regions is 82.5%, 4.8%, 10.5% and 2.2% respectively.

The total software business revenue of the five provinces (cities) was 5,802.9 billion yuan. It accounted for 68.9% of the national proportion, accounting for an increase of 0.1 percentage point compared with the same period last year.

Among them, Ningbo, Wuhan, Jinan, Qingdao, Dalian, Xi'an and Xiamen software business revenue growth rate exceeds the overall growth rate of the whole industry.
