Geely: the price of its new energy vehicles has not been adjusted.

CTOnews.com November 24 news, following yesterday BYD announced the price increase of its models, Geely also announced that some of its models ushered in a price increase, an increase of 2000-6000 yuan.

The official prices of Geely, Geometry and Ruilan cars will be adjusted, ranging from 2000 yuan to 6000 yuan. The price adjustment notice for specific models will be issued separately.

Geely said that the reason for the price increase is that the car purchase tax subsidy policy will end on December 31, 2022, after which the licensed vehicle countries will no longer give subsidies (the existing subsidy: 4800 yuan per plug-in hybrid vehicle, 12600 yuan per unit of pure electric vehicles, half-tax subsidy for fuel vehicles). At the same time, the prices of major raw materials for batteries have risen sharply since the second half of the year.

CTOnews.com learned that customers who signed up with a deposit before January 1, 2023 would not be affected by the price increase.
