CTOnews.com learned that Ningde Times said it was the only Chinese company to be elected to the board of directors of the Global Battery Alliance and a member of the alliance's supervisory committee.

According to data, the Global Battery Alliance, founded by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2017, is the first global battery association. The members of the Global Battery Alliance are representatives from industry enterprises, governments, non-governmental organizations and academia, covering all aspects of the global battery industry chain.

According to Ningde Times, the Global Battery Alliance has actively carried out actions in the areas of battery passport, traceability system and ESG, with the aim of building a sustainable, responsible and fair global battery industry chain by 2030.

As one of the largest power battery manufacturers in the world, Ningde Times achieved revenue of 97.369 billion yuan in the third quarter of 2022, an increase of 232.47% over the same period last year. Net profit belonging to shareholders of listed companies was about 9.424 billion yuan, up 188.42% from the same period last year.
