Liang Hua, chairman of Huawei, announced the decision at the 2022 Sustainable Development Forum. Statistics show that 1/3 of the world's population still does not have access to the Internet.

Taking the construction of optical fiber broadband network as an example, Huawei claims that more than 250000 kilometers of optical fiber have been laid in Africa, the rapidly deployed all-optical infrastructure has helped 3000 million households achieve high-speed broadband access, and the user experience has been continuously improved, and the average rate of home broadband has exceeded that of 30Mbps.

CTOnews.com learned that Huawei had earlier announced that in 2025, with the improvement of ICT infrastructure, Huawei will work with partners to enable 500 million people to have access to digital financial services and 500000 to have access to inclusive education.
