In addition, Bandai Namenggong provided more details about its upcoming NFT and metaverse plans and confirmed that the first metaverse will be set up in the Gundam franchise.

The first meta-universe will be based on Gunda IP. It is called Side-G, a galaxy with multiple "colonies" for different activities and content; one for e-sports, another for related products, and one for games.

Bandai told investors that its meta-universe and the NFT incorporated into it were not used for speculative purposes.

In this IP mettaverse, we expect that virtual spaces will enable customers to enjoy a wide range of entertainment on the IP axis, as well as take advantage of the unique advantages of Bandai Namenggong to integrate physical products and venues with digital elements.

"our goal is to establish an open framework to provide a place for contact between fans and business partners. Through IP Metaverse, we will build a community between Namenggong and fans, as well as fans.
