Pentonic 700integrates MediaTek AI processor APU, supports MediaTek AI Super Resolution, AI scene recognition quality Enhancement (AI-PQ Scene Recognition) and AI object recognition Image quality Enhancement (AI-PQ Object Recognition), and provides image edge smoothing and detail reconstruction.

In terms of functionality, the Pentonic 700 can support the simultaneous display of multiple source pictures from both local and Internet sources in the form of picture-in-picture (PiP) or split-screen picture (PbP) on a single screen. The new technology can be used for home entertainment, where consumers can watch favorite sporting events from different perspectives at the same time, or invite friends and relatives to make video calls while enjoying exciting events. In the office, it can enhance the function of virtual meeting and support TV to display different streaming content at the same time.

In terms of games, Pentonic 700 is suitable for 120Hz smart TVs and supports variable frame rate (VRR) technology up to 144Hz, helping TV manufacturers to design products for all kinds of game applications, providing players with a smooth gaming experience. MediaTek also pointed out that the chip uses a highly integrated design with excellent energy efficiency.
