Beijing, August 19 (Xinhua)-- according to documents filed with the Delaware court on Thursday, Elon Musk, the world's richest man who has given up his acquisition of Twitter, is asking advertising technology companies for more information about Twitter robots and spam accounts.

Musk had previously accused Twitter of concealing the percentage calculation of the robot account and used it as an excuse to abandon the billion-dollar acquisition agreement for Twitter440. Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Tesla CEO. The case is scheduled to be heard on October 17th.

Musk's lawyer has issued subpoenas to Integral Ad Science (IAS) and DoubleVerify to obtain relevant documents and communication records to know about their Twitter account assessment or user audit.

IAS and DoubleVerify, both based in New York, use technology to independently verify that users who view digital ads are real people. Advertisers use this technology to ensure that their paid ads can be viewed by potential users, rather than being swindled out of traffic by fully automatic robots.

Twitter, IAS and DoubleVerify were not immediately available for comment.

In response to a tweet about how Twitter audited its own services, Musk said: "Twitter has been sparing no effort to evade this issue."

In a counterclaim earlier this month, Musk claimed that the number of Twitter's commercially available daily active users was 65 million less than the company's advertised daily active users. Twitter has said it supports previously disclosed information.

The measure measures the number of users who log in to Twitter through websites or apps to advertise or use it for paid products such as subscriptions, according to Twitter's official documents.
