CTOnews.com August 18, Bloomberg Mark Gurman previously revealed that Apple plans to hold its first autumn launch event on Wednesday, September 7 (in the early morning of September 8, Beijing time), with the launch of the iPhone 14 / Pro series and Apple Watch Series 8.

This evening, Tianfeng International analyst Guo Mingyi forwarded the revelation that the release / delivery date of Apple's iPhone 14 / Pro series may be earlier than the iPhone 13 iPhone 12, which may be one of the reasons why Apple was optimistic about the outlook for the third quarter of 22 in its last earnings call.

Mr Guo said the global recession risk was still growing and unpredictable, so releasing / shipping iPhone as soon as possible could minimise the impact of recession risk on demand.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Apple expects demand for the iPhone to remain strong and has asked suppliers to produce 9000 million iPhone 14 models, which is on a par with iPhone 13 production in the same period last year.

Apple expects to produce a total of about 220 million iPhone units in 2022, in line with 2021. Sources say Apple can withstand the downturn in the smartphone market because its customer base is still willing to pay for high-end devices.

There is also news from the supply chain that Apple has recently bucked the trend to expand the initial stock of iPhone 14 series new phones, reaching 95 million units, an increase of about 5% over previous expectations, thus seizing the non-Apple camp market. TSMC, Hon Hai, Dali, Zhending-KY, Huatong and other Apple supply chain shipments have improved.

Apple plans to release four iPhone 14 series models, including the 6.1in iPhone 14, 6.7in iPhone 14 Max, 6.1in iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is worth noting that due to lower-than-expected sales of iPhone 12 mini and 13 mini devices, there will be no new 5.4in "iPhone 14 mini" release.

According to revelations, Apple has three Apple Watch models under development, including a new Apple Watch Series 8, an updated Apple Watch SE 2, and a new Apple Watch Pro version (expected to have a larger body, newer design, and stronger special construction).

Apple also plans to launch a new entry-level iPad 10, a newer iPad Pro model, an Mac Pro with an Apple Silicon chip, and so on, but these devices are likely to be reserved for the second event in October.
