CTOnews.com, August 18, today, in response to the Bloomberg report that "Tesla's legal chief left," Tesla responded through Twitter that the news was not true and that David Searle, Tesla's head of legal department, did not leave Tesla.

Earlier today, Bloomberg reported that Tesla parted ways with the head of the legal department responsible for conducting an internal investigation into purchase orders. David Searle resigned as head of Tesla's legal department less than a month ago, according to three people familiar with the matter. Dinna Eskin, the company's deputy general counsel, has taken over the position.

CTOnews.com learned that Tesla, one of the world's largest electric carmakers, had revenues of $16.93 billion in the second quarter of 2022, up 42 per cent from a year earlier, while net profit belonging to Tesla shareholders was $2.26 billion, up 98 per cent from a year earlier.

Tesla previously said he would strive to set a new record in the second half of 2022 as both Fremont and Shanghai achieved the highest monthly output on record and the development of new plants.
