According to the financial report, in the first half of 2022, Geely achieved operating income of 58.2 billion yuan, an increase of 29% over the same period last year; an average gross profit of 16000 yuan, an increase of 9.9% over the same period last year; and sales of new energy increased by 398%. Free cash flow rose 1076 per cent to 5.4 billion yuan and net cash level rose 5.8 per cent to 22 billion yuan.

CTOnews.com learned that data show that Geely sold a total of 614000 vehicles in the first half of 2022, of which the new energy sector accounted for an increase of 14.4 percent to 17.9 percent.

Geely said that with the optimization of the model structure, Geely's bicycle sales revenue and average gross profit per bike have also been greatly improved. During the period, the total average bicycle sales revenue increased by 21.1% over the same period last year to 102000 yuan.

In the first half of the year, polar krypton completed the delivery of 19013 vehicles, with an average order amount of more than 335000 yuan. As of July 31, 396 self-built polar krypton charging stations had been built, 66% of the target of 600 for the whole year.

In addition, the geometry brand achieved rapid growth of 293% in the first half of the year, and in the second half of the year, it will work with Huawei Hongmeng to build a "superelectric math intelligence cockpit" and launch two new cars, the G6 and M6.

In the first half of this year, the average sales revenue of Lecker products reached 152000 yuan. Lectra 09, as the first large-scale SUV on its SPA platform, entered the 300000 yuan price belt for the first time. On June 6, Lectra officially launched the Lynk E-Motive hybrid brand. The main products on sale will quickly launch large-mileage PHEV models to achieve full electrification coverage of the main products. It is planned that by 2025, the Lectra brand will be electrified at 100%.

In the same period, Geely launched a Dihao alcohol-electric hybrid car. Based on the exclusive power exchange structure, the power exchange brand Ruilan car is launched. In the future, Geely will further accelerate the comprehensive transformation of new energy, accounting for more than 30% of monthly new energy sales in the second half of the year, and more than 50% of monthly new energy sales by 2023 by improving product layout.

In terms of intelligent cockpit, in the first half of 2022, Geely has upgraded a number of models from distributed control electronic architecture GEEA1.0 to function domain set electronic architecture GEEA2.0, while matching the latest Qualcomm 8155 aircraft chips to achieve intelligent cockpit OTA upgrades, and plans to complete about 10 OTA upgrades this year. Geely will mass-produce a new generation of cockpit operating system One OS, which supports one version of software to cover the needs of multiple models.

In terms of intelligent driving, Geely focuses on L2 + and L3 intelligent driving technology. Starting from the fourth quarter of this year, a new generation of "NOA autopilot navigation system" will be used on the latest products of LinkedIn, Geely and Geometry, and users can subscribe and upgrade different functions through FOTA.
