Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen OC_Formula for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, August 17, AMD has now announced that it will hold the launch of the Ruilong 7000 processor on August 30. The launch date was initially revealed on September 15, but the latest release was postponed to September 27.

According to VideoCardz, the delay in the launch of the AMD Sharon 7000 processor is due to BIOS problems.

Foreign media believe that AMD Ruilong 7000 uses a new AM5 platform, adding support for DDR5 memory and PCIe SSD, so there are more places that need to be tested and optimized.

According to WccfTech, AMD originally planned to use AGESA 1.0.0.1 Patch D microcode as the listed version, but due to insufficient optimization, the final listed version may be AGESA v1.0.0.2.

Previously, motherboard vendors were expected to release AGESA BIOS v1.0.0.1 Patch D with their motherboards at release, but this no longer seems to be the case because the old BIOS is not sufficiently optimized for AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU and the AM5 motherboard platform also supports EXPO DDR5 memory. Therefore, there are reports that the official BIOS at the time of release will be v1.0.0.2, and we will also see future revisions of BIOS move forward.

AMD will release the parameters and price of the Ruilong 7000 on August 30 and will not be available for nearly a month, which will allow optimization testing time for AMD and its partners.

CTOnews.com learned that at present, the approximate parameters of AMD Ruilong 7000 have been exposed, and interested partners can design the installation plan according to their needs.
