On the evening of August 17, Beijing time, a number of Twitter insiders reported that Twitter employees were tired of the previous legal battle between the company and Tesla CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk), leading to a steady stream of departures in recent weeks.

In April, Musk announced the acquisition of Twitter for about $44 billion in cash. But on July 9th Mr Musk announced the termination of the deal. On July 13, Twitter took Musk to court. On July 20, the judge announced that the case would be heard in October.

But according to Twitter insiders, a steady stream of Twitter employees have left the company in recent weeks. The reason is that they are tired of this stagnant farce.

"I am mentally exhausted," said one current employee who is seeking to leave Twitter. Another employee said that the poor communication between employees and Twitter on the "acquisition" resulted in many employees actually losing respect for the company's leadership.

According to a former employee who recently left Twitter, at least one group of Twitter employees are leaving every week. In severe cases, two or three batches of employees may leave each week.

One document shows that so many employees have left recently that Twitter has changed its classification of attrition, offering a special reason to "leave as a result of Musk's acquisition".

The Delaware Court of Chancery will hear the case on October 17 this year for a period of five days. At present, both Twitter and Musk are seeking a wide range of communications and documents from each other to better defend themselves before the trial.

In May, Twitter said it would suspend hiring and cut costs. Due to changes in business needs, Twitter will reorganize its talent recruitment team and reduce the number of employees. It was reported last month that the Twitter recruitment team would cut 30% of its workforce, affecting about 100 people.
